Noteworthy news

A couple of Presbyterian News Service items this week relate to our partners in Colombia and Bolivia.

Rev. Luis Pérez Alanoca from Bolivia is currently touring the U.S. as an International Peacemaker, as is Rev. Dayro Aranzález from Colombia. You can read a little bit about their stories and see if their remaining stops are in your area!

Last week at an event for World Mission staff, presbytery mission advocates, and mission network leaders, Rev. Milton Mejía from Colombia was part of a three-member panel of global partners responding to the new strategic direction of World Mission. Milton said, “When we are willing to risk ourselves, to share the small things coming out of our faith, it is in this dialogue and personal sharing that we learn each others’ spirituality and build collaborative, long-term relationships.”
